Paperwork in, data out & nobody retyping it.

Send in receipts, supplier invoices, delivery notes and voice notes however they arrive. We set up the reading, checking and filing, so the figures land in your books and anything unclear comes back to you as a question.

Dan, Builder

My receipts stay in the van until the accountant asks for them at the end of the quarter. Then it’s a weekend of typing them in, and some have faded too much to read. Is there an easier way to keep on top of it?

Duet

Post them in as they arrive. We’ll read them into your books and ask you about anything unclear.

Post it in & watch it land.

Drag a paper through the letterbox and it becomes a row in the books. Where a figure is unclear, it asks you instead of guessing.

Drag a paper into the letterbox, or play Dan’s voice note.

Whatever the pile, read & filed.

The same set-up works for a café’s supplier invoices, a plumber’s van receipts and a landlord’s repair bills.

Example conversations

Mel, Café owner

Supplier invoices turn up by email, by post and tucked in with the milk. On Sunday nights I check them against what arrived and type them into the accounts. Could they go in as they come?

Duet

They could. Each one is read as it arrives and checked against the delivery, and you see anything that doesn’t match.

Rhys, Plumber

I pay for parts on the card and the receipts end up in the van door. By the time I sort them, half have faded. Can I just take a photo and forget about it?

Duet

Take the photo and send it. It’s read into your books, and if a figure has faded you get one quick question.

Helen, Landlord, six flats

Repair bills come from five different tradespeople, all laid out differently. At tax time I’m still working out which flat each one was for. Could that be sorted as they arrive?

Duet

Yes. Each bill is filed against its flat as it comes in, and it asks you when the address isn’t clear.

Not sure? It asks & you answer.

Every receipt is read field by field. Anything it can’t read clearly comes to you as one plain question, and your answer files it.

The total’s faded. Was it £41.34 or £44.34?
