AI web development, built by agents & read by us.
We build websites and web tools with AI agents doing the implementation, to a spec we write. Every change is checked twice, and nothing goes live until one of us has read it.
Three reads & the last one is ours.
Every change starts as a spec we write and is built by a fresh agent. Then it’s checked against the spec, read as code, and read by one of us. Pick a fault to see which read catches it.
We write the spec & sign it off.
Agents do the implementation: templates, styles, scripts and database changes. What gets built, and whether it’s right, stays with us. Try handing one of ours over.

Agents are fast, they’re thorough, and given the chance they’ll write a confident sentence about their own quality that isn’t true.
Written by agents & switched on by us.
This site is the worked example. Every case study on it arrived switched off, and goes live only once one of us has read it.

Faster, yes, and the bigger gain is in the second and third versions. A revision costs very little, so work gets improved instead of defended.
Cheaper follows, but not by the multiple people like to quote, because reading is real time. Checking a change against its spec, and deciding whether it will still make sense in two years, didn’t get faster. That’s the part you’re paying for: less of the budget goes on typing, and more on judgement.
The implementation. On this site that’s every template, stylesheet, script and database change, built as whole tasks from a written spec, not as autocomplete.
It doesn’t write the spec, the definition of done, or the decision that something is finished. Between what an agent writes and your live site sit three reads: a check against the spec, a read as code, and one of us.
We are. The two review passes are automated; the last read isn’t. Nothing is switched on, deployed or called finished until one of us has read it, and “the agent wrote it” is never an explanation for anything on a site we’ve built.
That’s why the work leaves a written trail: specs, review notes, and a source for every number. It makes checking possible rather than notional.
Craft CMS, Tailwind, Vite and plain JavaScript: the stack we’ve shipped agency work on for years, not something picked to suit an AI. This site is Craft 5, Tailwind 4 and Vite 7.
Agents are most reliable in mature, well-documented tools, and least reliable where there’s no settled right answer to follow. Boring is a feature. If a project really needs something else, we’ll talk about it.
The code is conventional, reviewed and documented so that it survives without agents. There’s no private framework in it, and no clever abstraction that only makes sense if you were in the conversation.
The content model lives in database migrations, so the site rebuilds from the repository on any machine, and the decisions are written down. Any competent Craft developer can pick it up and work on it the traditional way. A build that needs us, or an agent, to stay alive has already failed.
Yes. We’re based in Bath, about twelve miles from Bristol and a short train ride from Temple Meads, so meeting in person is easy either way, and across the South West.
Most of the work happens wherever you are. What being local buys is simpler: when a project needs a room, a whiteboard and an afternoon, we can have one. There’s more on the Bath page.
